Heist Fest 2019 featuring Superheist and 36 Crazyfists announces Victoria supports

Heist Fest 2019

One of the nations longest running and most respected heavy music acts, Superheist have teamed up with Alaskan riff masters 36 Crazyfists for one monster of a tour!

Heist Fest will consume all in its path as it decimates seven cities along the east coast and over to Adelaide this coming April.

Heist Feist also features very special guests, From Crisis To Collapse with many more to be announced of the coming weeks.

The festival aims to fill the enormous gap in heavy music listings on the touring circuit and build to become one of the go-to events on the live music calendar.

Bursting onto the scene a quarter of a century ago with 94’s Apocalypse demo, Superheist quickly forged their own unique path via now iconic albums such as The Prize Recruit, 8 Miles High and Chrome Matrix.

Pushing the boundaries of extreme music while incorporating pop and nu-wave inspired melodies and hooks you couldn’t escape from it you tried! In the early 2000’s the band were at the forefront of the ’new breed’ of heavy music that took over the globe.  Multiple Top 20 chart positions and national tours brought the band to a wider audience than ever before and cemented their place in Australian music canon.

After nearly a decade in the dark, the band came roaring back in 2016 with a brand new album, Ghosts Of The Social Dead, and hit the road for a series of sold out shows, reaffirming that their place amongst the hearts of heavy music fans still remains.

Unbridled honesty cast in unpredictable metallic soundscapes and icy melodies is the best way to describe Alaska’s 36 Crazyfists. The northern darkness of their homeland proving to be the perfect atmosphere for them to craft some of the greatest riffage of recent times. Their music has been featured on films such as Resident Evil Apocalypse and they’ve racked up millions of streams. Their 2015 album, Time And Trauma, crashed into the US Billboard Heatseekers chart at Number 2, which was a career best and it received high praise from the global heavy music press.

Album number 8, late 2017’s Lanterns, sees 36 Crazyfists as a razor sharp, honed metalcore machine.  This will be the bands first visit to Australia since they tore it apart back in 2011 as part of Soundwave.

From Crisis To Collapse hail from Byron Bay, NSW. Some of their members come from the European nations of Spain and Italy and it is this overall world view that brings something special to the bands outlook.

The trails facing humanity and the world at large are central to the core of the four piece and their take no prisoners approach to their intense songwriting has lead them to share stages with the best of the best in the Australian metal scene.

Form Crisis To Collapse are the very pinnacle of modern melodic death metal and the bad are set to dominate the year ahead. They have shared the stage with a host of bands including King Parrot, and international icons Death Angel and Sepultura. Their debut release, The Seventh Tree is out now.

Just announced for both Victorian shows are My Secret Circus & BLKLST.

After a short hiatus, My Secret Circus returned in 2018 with their incredible new single, Rise And Fall and immediately won the hearts and minds of their fans who were eagerly awaiting their return. Their high octane, infectious groove returned but with it a darker more sinister sound that perfectly reflects the world in its current climate.

With their nu metal tinged hardcore, BLKLST fuse turn of the millennium melodies with old school breakdowns and razor sharp musicianship to produce music thats made for the pit!
