In late 2017, DREAM THEATER signed with Sony Music’s progressive imprint InsideOutMusic.  Now, in preparation for the band’s fourteenth studio album and their first album ever produced in collaboration with this leading worldwide label, they are pleased to announce that they have entered the studio to begin the writing process. Recently, John Petrucci and James LaBrie shared a quick video update from the writing sessions on the band’s official Facebook page HERE.

James comments: “We’ve been here for one week and it is going sensational. Everybody is in the one room…and I gotta tell you, if the first week is any indication of where this album is going, you’re in for a treat.”

John adds: “There’s a lot of ideas flowing, and it’s already been really productive after only a week in. So far the music is heavy, progressive, melodic, shredding and it’s epic.”

Aborted - Terror VisionABORTED’s new album, TerrorVision will be released on September 21st, 2018. The band have just revealed the sick artwork that was done by Par Olofsson (Exodus, Immolation, Immortal) that is outlining the album approach flawlessly. TerrorVision offers eleven tracks of absolutely outstanding brutal death metal.

With The Necrotic Manifesto and ABORTED’s last album, Retrogore already showcasing what the band is capable of, TerrorVision lifts death metal to a higher level of intensity, atmosphere and brutality. Produced by Kristian “Kohle” Kohlmannslehner at Kohlekeller Studios, TerrorVision is not just a new chunk of high-class brutal death metal, it’s a piece of art pushing the boundaries of the entire genre by combining over-the-top musicianship with skilled songwriting, a clear yet organic production and inexorable brutality that has no equals.

Brace yourself for the start of the pre-sale and the launch of the first video/track of TerrorVision for Friday 6 July.

Hailing from the abysmal forests of the mystic North, BELZEBUBS have possessed a stealthy cult status throughout their existence. Originally summoned together in 2002, the band has succeeded in creating a thrilling blend of melodic black metal, guttural growls and vivid solos, forged with progressive twists and cinematic soundscapes. Accompanied by a new drummer and a three-record-deal with Century Media, BELZEBUBS finally feels fit to take on the (under)world.

”We are extremely proud to sign with Century Media on their 30th anniversary year, joining the likes of Watain, Tribulation, Moonsorrow, Insomnium, and Rotting Christ, just to name a few. We have been busy composing new material, and can’t wait to get in the studio (and tour!?) with our new drummer Samaël, who’s brought a tight, progressive twist to our gritty yet melodic sound.”

Blackened Call is the band’s first single, taken from their upcoming debut album, scheduled for a February 2019 release. It was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö, who’s also responsible for the sound of Dark Funeral’s The Secrets Of The Black Arts, Dissection’s The Somberlain and many more. The video was directed by Samppa Kukkonen and produced by Terhi Väänänen.
