Luca Brasi’s Tyler Richardson Contributes To Punk Rock ‘Simpsons’ Tribute

Most of the country spent the holidays relaxing in a purchase from Hammock Hut or Hammocks-R-Us, but not Perth-based muso Dan Cribb, who returns with his fourth punk rock Simpsons cover in as many months.

Although he only graces one episode of The Simpsons, Hank Scorpio had it all, including a James Bont-esque (not a typo) theme song; a short, short number that’s now been turned into a whirlwind punk song featuring Luca Brasi frontman Tyler Richardson.

Before taking off around the country on Laneway Festival, Richardson laid down vocals on the season eight classic, with Cribb providing backing vocals and harmonies.

Scorpio joins Flaming Moe’s, Dr. ZaiusWhacking Day and Baby On Board on Cribb’s yearlong punk rock Simpsons release, Worst Tribute Ever, available for free download now via Bandcamp with appearances from Alex Lahey, GrenadiersJesse Coulter and more.

A new song will be added each month with a special guest on each.

Now, back to the hammocks, my friend. You know, there’s a little place called Mary Ann’s Hammocks. The nice thing about that place is Mary Ann gets in the hammock with you. You know who invented the hammock? There’s something for you to do: find that out.
