Indie rock’s High Tropics head to Big Pineapple Festival with new single 15 Years’

High Tropics

Australian indie rock band, High Tropics debut single, 15 Years, released via powerhouse independent record label, Golden Robot Records, is available now via iTunes and Spotify.

High Tropics is the fuzz-filled brainchild of South African born Josh Stewart (of The Ninjas).  Think traits from the early 00s when The Strokes and The Killers were king, but with a 2017 sound, combining lo-fi indie rock production techniques with charm and methodical arrangements reminiscent of archetypal singer/songwriters. The rest of the band includes Cody Cook (lead guitar), Dane Bayliss (drums), Christopher Pickett (bassist), and multi-instrumentalist, James Breust.

Their debut single, 15 Years, exhibits frontman, Josh Stewart’s carefully sculpted DIY efforts, demonstrated with incredible precision.  Boasting chorus and bridge sections that scream of Glastonbury and stir your favourite memories of other garage rock greats.

Set to perform at the Big Pineapple Festival this weekend, their brilliant new single, 15 Years, is at radio now with the video debuting in April and recently featured on Rage.  Check it out below!
