INTERVIEW: John Adams – Love N War

Love N War

It’s true what they say, that rock n’ roll never dies. In whatever form it may come in, from melodic rock to thrash metal, the resurgence of what is known as classic rock and metal comes and goes and in the underground, that’s where some of the best music can be found. Texas rockers Love N War have certainly been no strangers to the local rock scene, opening up for some legendary acts such as Queensryche, Michael Schenker and Sebastian Bach. The band are working on new songs for the follow up to their album “Up The Annie” so we have a chat with guitarist John Adams to talk about the band and more.

John: In the early 90’s when we lost our big 80’s metal bands and everything kinda changed to the grunge scene, there was that long time period where we didn’t have anything and I just knew it was bound for everybody to start getting hungry, the new generation of fans would pick up on the music again. And hey, it happened, all these bands are back on tour again. Look at all the bands we’ve opened up for in the last 3 or 4 years, it’s evident right there that all these bands are coming back on tour.
