“Think Clearly Now” was co-written several years ago in the USA with legendary songwriter and producer Mike Chapman (Tina Turner, Pat Benatar, Suzi Quatro).
Originally demoed as an electronic-pop track, the song was put aside, but Nat always believed there was something special in it. Revisiting the track years later, she stripped it back, completely rearranged it and rebuilt it from the ground up, carefully selecting every instrument and producing the song into the version she always felt it could be.
The result is a heartfelt and beautifully understated track with a simple but universal message — sometimes we all need to stop, think clearly and consider the consequences of our words and actions.
