Today’s guest on 50 Shades Of Slaids is the bass player for one of my favourite Australian bands of the 90’s and beyond. His bass lines are iconic and instantly recognisable in songs like “Better get A Lawyer”, “Teach Me “ and “Just A Man”.
His band The Cruel Sea are about to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of their iconic ARIA Award winning album “Three Legged Dog”. The band has two massive shows coming this September and October to celebrate “Three Legged Dog”.
We got to sit down with Ken Gormly and chat the record, the bands return from hiatus and what makes performing live so special. The time we had with Ken wasn’t nearly long enough, but in this chat we covered some great stuff and had a ton of fun along the way.
