Country music artist Shea Fisher releases her new single, “Want That Man,” available now alongside its official music video. Written by Fisher and co-produced with Luke DeJayne of Walker Hayes’ band, the upbeat country track brings a fun, flirty summer energy with a confident attitude and a playful take on knowing exactly what you want. The song marks the first release from Fisher’s highly anticipated forthcoming studio album, due in October 2026.
With its playful energy and confident message, “Want That Man” showcases Fisher’s ability to pair modern country sounds with authentic storytelling. The song delivers a lighthearted take on attraction and independence, highlighting the fun-loving side of Fisher’s artistry.
“This song is about being strong enough to stand on your own, while still appreciating a good man who wants to stand beside you,” says Fisher. “Independence doesn’t mean you have to do everything alone,” says Fisher.
“Want That Man” follows a strong run of recent releases from Fisher, including “TRUCK,” “Ow in Cowboy,” co-written with #1 hitmaker Walker Hayes, and her acclaimed comeback single “Take Me Back to Texas,” co-written with Grammy-winning songwriters Jessie Jo Dillon and Karyn Rochelle. Together, the releases have helped reignite Fisher’s global fanbase and build momentum toward her forthcoming album.
Most recently, Fisher made a featured appearance alongside her husband, World Champion Tie-Down Roper Tyson Durfey, in Ella Langley’s music video for “Choosin’ Texas,” filmed at the iconic Stagecoach Ballroom in Fort Worth. The star-studded video also features Luke Grimes, Ava Phillippe, Miranda Lambert, Kaitlin Butts, and a lineup of world champion cowboys and rodeo athletes. Fisher also contributed behind the scenes through her custom silversmith brand, Shea Michelle Buckles, which created custom belt buckles featured in the video.
