The Datsuns are heading back to Australia for their first national tour since 2014.
In 1998 The Datsuns found their name and started to write their chapter in rock n roll history. Their first performance on Australian soil was in March of 2001 and by 2002 The Datsuns took their brand of gritty rock n roll to the UK where an invitation to appear on John Peels BBC Radio 1 programme changed their world forever.
The Datsuns vocalist/guitarist Christian Livingstone caught up with Slaids from his home in Tokyo to catch us up on some band history and of course talk the tour along with letting the cat out of the bag that there will be a new album coming this year.
With a run through New Zealand before hitting Australia the amps will be warm and the riffs larger than ever. For anyone that has ever seen The Datsuns live you know what an amazing experience it is and for those who haven’t had a chance these shows are not to be missed.
