On Episode 23 of 50 Shades Of Slaids The Rockpit caught up with Jenni & Marty Powell of the Riff Raiders. Riff Raiders release their third studio album ‘Welcome To Mars’ their first in six years. Preceded by the singles “Nothing To Lose”, “Welcome To Mars” and the stellar “Broken Halo”. The album has such an organic feel to it and flows so well, every song draws you in and hits differently with each listen.
We get to sit down and discuss the bands hiatus from the live stage and why it has taken six years for the world to hear ‘Welcome To Mars’. We run through the album pretty much track by track and the stories we uncover are great.
