ONE ELECTRIC DAY returns to Werribee in 2026, led by Aussie rock icon Jimmy Barnes and an all-star line-up featuring The Living End, Ian Moss, Baby Animals, Chocolate Starfish and Bachelor Girl. Taking over the stunning surrounds of Werribee Park on Saturday 21 November, ONE ELECTRIC DAY promises an unforgettable day of live music, bringing together some of Australia’s most beloved artists to kick off the summer season.
Jimmy Barnes, is the heart and soul of Australian rock and roll. He has 22 #1 albums, more than The Beatles, and he has sold more records in Australia than any other local artist. For over 40 years he has delivered some of our most intense and iconic live performances both as a solo performer and as front man for the legendary Cold Chisel, leading him to be inducted into the ARIA Hall of fame … twice. He is truly in a league of his own.
In addition to his phenomenal music career, Jimmy has written four #1 bestselling books – his acclaimed memoirs Working Class Boy and Working Class Man (which won back to back ABIA Awards in 2017 and 2018), his 2020 collection of short stories, Killing Time and Highways and Byways: Tall Tales and Short Stories from the Long Way Round in 2024. His ever expanding oeuvre also includes two children’s books – Och Aye the Gnu and Rosie the Rhinoceros – and a cookbook with his wife Jane titled Where the River Bends.
Jimmy returned to the top of the charts in June 2025 with his 21st studio album, DEFIANT, and released a 2nd cookbook with Jane, Seasons Where the River Bends, in November 2025.
Never one to slow down, 2025 also saw “Barnesy” celebrating the 40th Anniversary of his landmark album, For the Working Class Man with the release of a new documentary as well as a series of major outdoor shows in 2025 and 2026 including special Vinyl editions of the album.
The Living End are an Australian punk rock band formed in 1994. Since 2002 the line-up consists of Chris Cheney, Scott Owen and Andy Strachan. The band rose to fame in 1997 after the release of their double A-sided single, “Second Solution” / “Prisoner of Society”. They have released eight studio albums and have had two No. 1 debuts on the Australian Albums Aria Chart. They have also gained chart success in the United States and United Kingdom.
The Living End are one of Australia’s most ferocious live acts, consistently headlining festivals around the country. Their blistering live performances have earned the band an enviable position of one of Australia’s greatest live bands. Bringing raw and unrelenting rock’n’roll energy, their sold out 2026 regional tour comes on the heels of the band’s first album in eight years ‘I Only Trust Rock n Roll’ – their leanest, fiercest, most locked-and-loaded statement to date, released last year.
Few artists have left as enduring a mark on Australian music as Ian Moss. Renowned for his unmistakable voice, masterful guitar playing and timeless songwriting, Moss has built an extraordinary career spanning more than four decades. As a founding member of Cold Chisel, he helped shape the sound of one of Australia’s most iconic bands before launching a stellar solo career. Since then, he has continued to release acclaimed albums, charting singles and sell out tours, cementing his reputation as one of Australia’s finest musicians.
A multiple ARIA Award winner, Moss is celebrated for the authenticity, soul and emotion that define every performance. Whether fronting a full band, performing solo or collaborating with fellow Australian music legends, his artistry continues to captivate audiences across generations, reinforcing Ian Moss’s place as one of Australia’s most compelling live performers and a true legend of Australian music.
It has been 35 years since one of Australia’s most revered rock bands, Baby Animals, burst onto the scene with the release of their 8x Platinum, ARIA Award winning, self-titled debut album, featuring iconic hits ‘Rush You’, ‘Early Warning’, ‘Painless’ and ‘One Word’. The band was touring with Van Halen in the US when they heard the album had topped the charts, ‘Baby Animals’ spending six weeks at number one in Australia and keeping Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ out of top spot. The album went eight times platinum and won three ARIA Awards – Best Album, Best Debut Album and Best Debut Single. It was also declared one of the Top 25 albums of 1992 in UK rock bible Kerrang!, and Baby Animals performed ‘Painless’ on Late Night With David Letterman. They later appeared in The 100 Best Australian Albums, and Suze DeMarchi was also featured in the book Rock Chicks, The Hottest Female Rockers from the 1960s to Now.
Chocolate Starfish are masters of live spectacle, delivering a high-octane mix of rock, theatre and pure crowd-shaking fun. Known for hits like “Mountain” and their explosive cover of “You’re So Vain,” they’ve built a reputation as one of Australia’s most unpredictable and entertaining festival acts. Their return to One Electric Day promises another full-throttle ride — costume changes, powerhouse vocals and singalongs that sweep across the mighty lawns of Werribee Park.
Formed in 1992 by Tania Doko and James Roche, Bachelor Girl became one of Australia’s most loved acts of the 90s and early 2000s, achieving major success locally and internationally, including signing with Clive Davis at Arista Records.
Their breakthrough hit Buses and Trains was named the most played Australian composition on Australian radio in its first year of release and across the following 25 years and took out APRA’s Song of the Year in 1999. The double platinum debut album Waiting for the Day spawned five major singles including Treat Me Good and Permission to Shine and earned the duo an ARIA Award for Producer of the Year.
After time writing and producing abroad, the pair reunited in 2016 and have since continued to release new music and tour nationally, appearing alongside iconic acts including Eurythmics, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Corrs, Simple Minds and Icehouse, as well as on major concert events such as A Day on the Green and the Red Hot Summer Tour.
Still delivering a hit-filled, dynamic live show, Bachelor Girl remain a vital force in Australian music and are currently working on a major new project set to be announced soon.
