Spread Eagle celebrates 30th anniversary of debut album

Spread Eagle

A true collector’s gem, Spread Eagle‘s 1990 self titled debut album turns 30 this Saturday, May 30. Songs like “Switchblade Serenade” and “Scratch Like A Cat” were frequently aired on MTVs “Headbanger’s Ball”, while the bluesier “Broken City” and the hauntingly beautiful metal ballad “Thru These Eyes” garnered lifelong fans.

In 2006 Spread Eagle reissued this debut album and have steadily expanded their fan base ever since, signing to Frontiers Music SRL in 2018. Judging by the powerful debut and the critically acclaimed comeback album “Subway To The Stars” (Frontiers), Spread Eagle is a band we will hear a lot of in the future.

Spread Eagle consists of Ray West, Rob De Luca (UFO, Sebastian Bach), Ziv Shalev and Rik De Luca.
