Silent Knight release Gamma Ray cover song “Dethrone Tyranny”

Silent Knight - Dethrone Tyranny

Australian Power Metal outfit Silent Knight have released a new cover song, Dethrone Tyranny by Gamma Ray on digital platforms available now.

The idea came from Hungarian record label Burning Sun Records who had previously released a Helloween tribute cassette and were keen to follow up with another Power Metal favourite featuring bands from around the world, this time Gamma Ray.

The cassette’s were limited to only 100 copies for sale so of course Silent Knight chose to release their version on digital platforms with an alternate mix & master, this time handled by Istvan Simon of No Silence Studios, whereas Cameron Nicholas mixed the original cassette version.

The artwork was handled once again by Andrej Bartulovic of All Things Rotten and is obviously paying a very close tribute to the original artwork for Gamma Ray’s No World Order album.

Remaining Gamma Ray tribute cassettes can be purchased here: http://www.burningsun.bandcamp.com

You can catch Silent Knight at their upcoming performances:

June 29 Perth – Stormrider Heavy Metal Festival with LORD & more
Oct 13 Melbourne – Southern Gathering with Turilli/Lione Rhapsody & more
