A roundup of the latest news from Nuclear Blast: Slayer released episode 2 of 37 year career documentary, Sepultura announce European summer tour, Anthrax release live video of ‘Indians’ from ‘Kings of Scotland’ DVD & The Night Flight Orchestra release video teaser for first single from upcoming album.

Today, SLAYER releases episode 2 of its »SLAYER looks back on 37 years« video interview series.

In this episode, Tom Araya and Kerry King talk about SLAYER‘s earliest shows, especially the band’s very first show as SLAYER: how nervous they were, the home-made flash pots that just didn’t quite work the way they had intended, and more. The clip contains not only vintage live footage of the band, but the band-made flyers that promoted some of their first shows. In these early days, SLAYER toured the country in Araya‘s Camero and a U-Haul trailer, a far cry from the way they tour today.

After taking the world of rock music by storm with last year’s surprise hit »Amber Galactic«, which also got nominated for a Swedish Grammy in the process, and leaving people speechless after a breath-taking first European tour in November/December, Swedish classic/progressive rock supergroup THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA have completed the works on their impatiently awaited next album, »Sometimes The World Ain’t Enough«.

The band has just wrapped up shooting the official music video for the first single off the album. A short teaser can be viewed below:

The video is expected to drop soon.

Commented the band: “Recording this video was like combining different dimensions in a space cocktail. Numerous times during the video shoot, band members had to call the tax authorities, to confirm their names in the register, to make sure they had not lost all contact with reality. The result is surely mesmerizing and will take you on a journey that will be hard to digest. Enjoy!”

The album is set for release on June 29, 2018 via Nuclear Blast and will contain 12 brand new songs. The limited first edition digipack CD as well as the vinyl will also feature an exclusive bonus track. The Japanese version will also feature an additional bonus track.
