Sydney’s Dear Seattle are here to serve you another dose of headbanging, beer-in-the-sky melodic grunge rock with new single ‘Afterthought’, the follow up track to their break out single ‘The Meadows’. Bigger, better, and more anthemic, the second single off their upcoming EP is once again made unique by their high impact sing-along choruses reminiscent of early 90’s grunge in a similar vein of Aussie favourites Violent Soho, Luca Brasi, and Tired Lion, mixed with the punk rock sounds of Trophy Eyes, PUP, or Columbus.

The video for new single ‘Afterthought’ follows on from ‘The Meadows’ video storyline, as the protagonist wakes up from the party to discover a whole set of consequences.

From the belly of Melbourne’s underground rock scene comes a new force to be reckoned with in in the fuzzed out galactic stoner heavy riff lord stakes. The band is Duneeater, a 5-piece act laying claim to monstrous grooves, thumping beats and pulsating bass lines that leave your tongue hanging from the mouth if stoner central is where you’re calling from.
Featuring past and present members of bands like Battle Axe Howlers and Dallas Frasca, Duneeater are crashing out of the gates strong with their debut single “One Eyed Samurai” featuring an amazing video that’s now peaking on Youtube.

In anticipation of the July 7th release for their new EP “Perspective”, DFB brings us the lyric video for their second single “Domino via No Clean Singing’s website.

The video makes effective use of the surreal, otherworldly cover art, and the music, mixed and mastered by Julian Rodriguez (ex Elitist) at Parallel Focus Studios, is both physically jolting and has a dreamlike atmosphere with a catchy melody at its core. Fans of heavy rhythms, energetic instrumentation and soaring clean vocals, paired up with some serious growls and bone-crushing screams are bound to find something to sink their teeth in and keep them satisfied for the time being, until Perspective drops this summer.
