Now this is what you call a run of national dates – Perth melodic metallers Tempest Rising will be taking in all six mainland states plus ACT through March/April for their Trippin’ Across Australia Tour…and driving for every kilometre of it!. Stepping away from the studio where they’ve been hard at work on their sophomore album, the band will be showcasing new material along with recent singles ‘A Part of Me‘ and ‘Know My Name‘.
With engineering duties helmed by Forrester Savell (Karnivool) and Simon Mitchell (Chaos Divine), only vocals remain to be tracked on the as of yet titled full length. Frontman Vin Trikeriotis says of current offering and emotionally heavy track ‘A Part of Me’, “The song relates to a specific moment in my life where my actions may or may not have inadvertently caused the death of a close friend…”
Tempest Rising’s melting metal pot of sound and chaotic live shows have already seen them support and tour with acts such as Sevendust, Apocalyptica, Drowning Pool, Chaos Divine, King Parrot, Psycroptic, Voyager, Caligulas Horse and more. They have also toured Japan with black metal legends Marduk and Carach Angren.
Quickly becoming headliners in their own right, Tempest Rising are already one frighteningly tight outfit who are about to get to know each other a whole lot better over the next 16,432km!
