1349
Sign Worldwide Deal With Season Of Mist

1349
Season of Mist are proud to announce the signing of 1349. The Norwegian black metal stalwarts have already been signed to this label in the US and now extend the deal to a worldwide representation.
Regarding their signing, 1349 comment: “We are currently in the early creative stages of our new art offering and we are exited to confirm that we have extended our agreement with partners Season of Mist – this time handling the release worldwide.”

When 1349 rose from the ashes of ALVHEIM in 1997, the band was driven by a deep desire to keep the black metal flame burning in all its rebellious glory. The Norwegians set out with the declared aim to remain true to the original spirit of their scene, which they saw heading into all the wrong directions.

WINDSWEPT
stream third track
of debut album

Windswept

Conceived by DRUDKH mastermind Roman Sayenko with the aid of two fellow band members, WINDSWEPT are now premiering the third raging song taken from their forthcoming debut full-length ‘The Great Cold Steppe’, which has been slated for release on March 31
WINDSWEPT are inspired by the harsh and unforgiving nature of the Eastern winter steppes.
The track “The Great Shepherd Rides His Storms” is now streaming here

WINDSWEPT remains relatively close to DRUDKH in comparison to other outlets of Sayenko’s inspiration as it stays within the classic expression of Ukrainian black metal. Yet ‘The Great Cold Steppe’ is deliberately kept harsh and raw, which reflects the album’s theme that was inspired by the hostile and fierce Eastern steppes during winter time.
‘The Great Cold Steppe’ was written and recorded in only three days without rehearsals and based on improvisation with instruments and vocals creating the feeling and grit of a live performance.
Better turn on the heating before listening as WINDSWEPT come in hard and merciless like a blizzard from ‘The Great Cold Steppe’.

Imperium Dekadenz
unveil new video clip

Imperium Dekadenz

IMPERIUM DEKADENZ are releasing a music video featuring their classic track “Schwarze Wälder”, which was originally released on their debut full-length ‘…und die Welt ward kalt und leer’ (2006).

The German black metal stalwarts comment: “With this music clip revolving around the classic track ‘Schwarze Wälder’, we are returning to our debut full-length. Horaz has filmed the impressive nature of our Black Forest home on his meandering hiking trips and intertwined them with impressions from our show at Summerbreeze Open Air 2014. Our deep roots in the valleys and woods of our region are meeting the original black metal of our early days – charges with pure raw energy.”

Der Weg Einer Freiheit
welcome new bass player

DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT officially welcome bass player Nico Ziska as their newest member to the band.

Vocalist Nikita Kamprad comments: “We welcome our good friend and former part-time merch guy Nico as the new bassist of DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT! He has been around for many years now and after temporarily being reduced to a three-piece on stage, we felt it was about time to fill the vacant position. Our first joint rehearsals went well beyond expectations and now we can hardly wait to hit the stage with our new full line-up again. Our forthcoming album is being scheduled for release at this very moment and new shows and festivals are being booked. Get ready for our return!

At this point again we want to thank our former bassist Giuliano for his dedication and input over the past years. He won’t be forgotten. Giuliano even left some traces on our next album as you will find out in time!”

Nico comments on his joining of the band: “After having known these guys for some years now and being into their music since the first album it is a huge honour for me to join the band as their new bassist. Since Nikita and I come from the same area in Germany we have built up a strong friendship over the years and I am more than grateful for this chance. This means a new and exciting challenge for me and I am ready to take it.”
