BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME
Reveal Details For New DVD/Blu-Ray, Coma Ecliptic Live

Between The Buried And Me
On April 28th, Between the Buried and Me will release their new DVD/Blu-ray, Coma Ecliptic Live, via Metal Blade Records/Rocket.
The concert, which features the band performing their latest album, Coma Ecliptic, in its entirety, was filmed live on location October 4th, 2016 at The Observatory North Park in San Diego, CA.

Bassist Dan Briggs comments: “The genesis of the ‘Coma Ecliptic’ filming was based around capturing the look and feel of the show our lighting director Chris Hill produced for the full album set. It’s such an important record for us and our progression as a band and the visual representation captures the moods of our tragic tale so well. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the last two years we’ve been living with this album day in and day out!”

CUT UP
Launches New Video for Vermin Funeral

Cut Up

On March 24th, Cut Up will release their highly anticipated sophomore album, Wherever They May Rot,  via Metal Blade Records/Rocket!
Just as brutal as its predecessor, 2015’s Forensic Nightmares, Wherever They May Rot offers a rougher edge and is catchier overall.

Watch the bloody video for the new single, Vermin Funeral here

Cut Up’s Anders Bertilsson (guitar) comments: “Inspiration for your arbitrary funerary rites arrives in the form of our new video. Shot in a cold, filthy, suitably depressing environment the video perfectly illustrates the scorching mid-tempo concentration of pure aggression that is ‘Vermin Funeral’. Thanks to the camera work and acting by the Arvika crew, we can now present you with this murderous cinematic experience. Watch as one by one is hunted down and hammered into the tomb.

Cut Up guitarist/vocalist Andreas Bjornson comments: “‘Wherever They May Rot’ is an utter bloodbath from start to finish. We have managed to push the savagery even further than before, also broadening our sound without compromising one inch of aggression. Everyone has performed at the top of their game and the new songs are without a doubt the strongest we’ve ever created, reaching new heights in both speed and heaviness. We have sharpened our blades and the thirst for blood is unquenchable. The year of 2017 belongs to Cut Up!”

Wherever They May Rot track-listing:
1. From Ear To Ear
2. Necrophagic Madness
3. Behead The Dead
4. Wherever They May Rot
5. Vermin Funeral
6. By Hatred Bound
7. Psychosurgery
8. In The Aftermath
9. Master Dissector

HARLOTT
Launch 2nd single, The Penitent, & Welcome new guitarist Jake Weber

Harlott - Extinction

On April 7th, Australian thrashers Harlott will release their new album, Extinction, worldwide via Metal Blade Records/Rocket!
Harlott returns with a harrowing offering of thrash metal, and a bleak interpretation of mankind’s future.
A blistering assault of speed and aggression awaits those who endure Extinction, as well as a reverent journey into the power and force that is metal.

For a preview of the album, the new track, “The Penitent”, can be heard here:

Harlott also welcomes new lead guitarist Jake Weber. The band comments: “We are psyched to announce we have found the right guy in Jake! It was never going to be an easy task, but we couldn’t be happier with how everything has fallen into place. With our new album ‘Extinction’ due out on Metal Blade on April 7th, he couldn’t have come along at a better time!”

Jake Weber adds: “A little over 16 years ago, I first picked up the guitar & I’ve been swinging that axe ever since. In that time, I’ve played for bands such as The Murdering & Deprivation, as well as toured & recorded at home & abroad. Finally, I feel like I’ve really found my home and it’s right where I always thought it would be, playing Thrash! I’ve joined at a very important time in Harlott’s career. Andy, Tom & Tim have welcomed me with open arms & we are ready to become the tightest, fastest & hardest working machine Harlott can be! See you in the pit!”

Blacklight Media/Metal Blade Records is proud to announce the worldwide signing of Barcelona’s Syberia.
Currently in writing mode, the instrumental rock quartet will release their third album in 2018, as the follow-up to their previous critically acclaimed works: 2012’s Drawing a Future and 2016’s Resiliency.

Syberia comments: “We are very proud to be part of the Metal Blade family. It is a reference record label for all good metal-heads and a dream come true for us. Since we started the band, we have worked very hard to get here. We want to thank everyone in the label for the confidence they’ve placed in us, and especially to Chef Santos for recommending us. We can’t wait to start working on our new album and to put our whole heart in it.”

Interspersing influences from across the full spectrum of instrumental rock/metal, dream pop and shoegaze, Syberia juxtaposes order and grace with notions of cathartic freedom ‐ finding liberation in beautiful, uplifting melodies that never lapse into over-sentimentality. For their efforts, Syberia has received much praise from fans and media alike, resulting in European tours with bands such as Caspian, SleepMakeWaves, The Chameleons, Heirs, Constants, among many others. With their signing to Blacklight Media/Metal Blade Records, the group aims to reach new heights and deliver their unique brand of rock to audiences around the world.

TRIAL
Release Lyric Video For Title Track From New Album, Motherless

Trial

On April 7th, Swedish heavy metallers Trial (swe) will release their new album, Motherless, worldwide via Metal Blade Records/Rocket!

For a preview of the record, a new lyric video (by cover artist Costin Chioreanu!) for the title track, “Motherless”, can be viewed here:

Trial (swe) comments: “‘Motherless’ is the opener and title track of the upcoming release. It’s a fiery and captivating tune that serves the purpose of entangling the listener into the rest of the album. The video was created by the fantastic artist Costin Chioreanu, who uses the artwork and layout he created for the album as a vessel to give the song an extra dimension. It perfectly corresponds to our vision of what ‘Motherless’ is.”

Formed in 2007, Trial (swe) wrote and recorded The Primordial Temple (album, 2011), which became a stepping stone from where the band was to where they wanted to be. After earning acclaimed reviews for Malicious Arts (EP, 2013) and Vessel (album, 2015), Trial (swe)’s popularity continued to grow, and it wasn’t long before Metal Blade Records signed the band. With plans to re-invent themselves once again, Motherless promises to be another step forward in their career.

Motherless track-listing:
1. Motherless
2. In Empyrean Labour
3. Cold Comes The Night
4. Juxtaposed
5. Aligerous Architect
