Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania atmospheric metalcore quintet 156/Silence have released their latest offering, Swept From Under (Call of the Void) and the official music video. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming new full-length, From A Distance, out on September 4 via Pure Noise Records.
Elaborating on the inspiration behind the track, the band shared: “The call of the void is the voice in our heads that wants to self-destruct even when we don’t feel bad. A compulsion to hurt ourselves even if we don’t want to. Being swept from under by intrusive thoughts.”
After taking Inkcarceration 2026 by storm last weekend, 156/Silence will next set their sights on the It’s Not You, It’s Me Tour across North America with Chiodos, sace6 and Second Harbour beginning Thursday, July 30, with several headlining dates from Thursday, August 20 through Saturday, August 22 with Coldstate as support.
Following, the band will kick off their From A Distance Tour US headlining run with Aviana, Heavensgate and Fromjoy supporting.
