Champions of all things WA, Old Mervs are throwing two huge regional shindigs to kick off 2026. With a custom built truck stage, the duo from Kojonup will deliver a festival experience to Albany and Dunsborough in January 2026, set to be ones for the books!
Dave and Henry will be belting out tracks from their 2025 released self titled debut album and old favourites across two massive shows at Albany Racing Club on Saturday 10 January and Dunsborough Footy Oval on Saturday 24 January.
Inviting some of the best of the west along for the ride Great Gable, Little Guilt and Polly will take to the stage in Albany, while Fool Nelson, Little Guilt and Polly will join the party in Dunsborough. There will also be a local artist added to the line up for each show.
Riding a wave of wins, Old Mervs are celebrating a massive 2025 after the success of their ARIA-charting debut album release and sold out tours across Australia, the United States, including Chicago’s Lollapalooza, the UK and Europe.
With a while between shows in regional WA, Old Mervs are stoked to bring their truck stage idea to life, at the same time fundraising for local footy clubs along the way.
Great pals and even greater musos Fool Nelson will be making plenty of noise in Dunsborough, hyping up crowds with their catchy rock anthems. Wrapping up a big year of live shows, new music and a signing with AWAL, the Perth three-piece were also crowned winners of triple j’s One Night Stand competition, sharing the stage with Spacey Jane, LUUDE, Ruby Fields and more..
Known for their high-energy sets, Bunbury rockers Great Gable will be gracing the Albany stage. Loved for their riffy releases like “Drift”, “Punga”, “Taste” and more, the band have gone on to surpass over 70 million streams globally to date as well as climbing the ARIA charts. Releasing new tracks “Reef Prince” and “Better” this year, they’re ready to take 2026 by storm with even more music.
Fast-rising Perth trio Polly are bringing their sunsoaked sound to Dunsborough and Albany. Celebrating a year of wins and new releases with singles like “All I Want”, “Phase” and “So What”, the band continue to garner the love and support of triple j, praised for their unique genre blend of shoegaze meets surf rock.
Get amongst WA’s very own Little Guilt. Turning tastemaker heads like triple j and Tone Deaf with their tracks like “freakshow”, “Tasty Lies”, “Dancing While Behind”, the indie-pop outfit continue to climb the ranks with their dreamy rock sound and honeyed vocals. Playing off the back of headline shows and impressive support slots, the five-piece are gearing up for a stellar start to 2026.
Old Mervs will also be selecting a local artist from Dunsborough and Albany to open each show. Big supporters of all things regional WA, Dave and Henry have an unbreakable bond shared between lifelong mates and hail from the tiny farming community of Kojonup, a town three hours south of Perth, WA.
Placing at 38 in the triple j Hottest 100 with “What You’ve Lost” and releasing their self-titled debut album, Old Mervs kicked 2025 off with a bang. Recorded with ARIA award-winning producer Chris Collins, the album scored triple j’s Feature Album of the week and landed at #1 on the ARIA album charts, winning hearts with hits “Parched“, “What You’ve Lost”, “Forget It”, “Everyone Will See It” and “Don’t Go”.
Marking their biggest year yet, the pair embarked on a mammoth 20 date album tour across Australia and New Zealand along with their biggest headline home-state show to date at Perth HPC. They then headed to the US to play at world-renowned festival Lollapalooza alongside names like Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler the Creator and Sabrina Carpenter, bookended by a massive run of headline shows across the States. They have closed out the year with a return to the UK and their first ever shows in Europe.
