Final Thirteen is a dynamic power trio hailing from Northern Ireland, known for their energetic fusion of metal, alternative rock, and indie – a sound they’ve coined as “m’indie-rock.” The band comprises lead vocalist Ax, guitarist and vocalist JD, and drummer and vocalist Doobes. Since their formation, they’ve captivated audiences across Ireland with high-energy performances, rapidly building a dedicated fanbase.
Following the success of singles ‘Why You Sacrifice Me Now’, ‘Say Please Stay’, ‘Go’, ‘Golden Hour’, ‘Wide Eyed Lullabies’ and ‘Pyromania’ which received widespread acclaim and international radio play, Final Thirteen took their electric live show across the UK and Ireland on a successful tour, playing packed venues in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Carlisle, London, Belfast, and Dublin. The response was overwhelming, further fuelling the band’s rising momentum.
The trio is now back in the studio, channelling the energy of their live shows into developing new material that continues to push the boundaries of their genre-defying sound.

Equal parts heartbreak and hope, Nicky’s Song is a deeply personal offering. It channels the band’s anguish, questions, and memories into a cathartic anthem for anyone who’s ever lost someone too soon. Final Thirteen lay everything bare here – because some things are too important not to be sung. This track isn’t just for Nicky. It’s for the people we’ve lost, the ones we’re still trying to hold onto, and the conversations we need to keep having.
Let it echo. Let it heal. Let it be heard.”

Since their debut in August 2024 with the acclaimed single ‘Why You Sacrifice Me Now’ – accompanied by a striking black-and-white music video set in their hometown of Belfast, they have continued to evolve. With each release, they’ve strengthened their signature blend of heavy guitars, thunderous drums, and emotionally charged vocals. As of mid-2025, they stand as one of the most exciting emerging acts from Northern Ireland, with a growing discography, a fired-up fanbase, and new music on the horizon.
