INTERFLOW To Release New Single ‘DIRTY MONEY’

Emerging Perth rock outfit Interflow have announced the release of their new single, Dirty Money, on February 9 with a live launch happening at Fremantle’s Buffalo Club on February 13. Dirty Money is an out and out rocker, heavy on a groove that channels the Stones as much as it does You Am I.

“We took a bit more time fleshing out individual parts on this track,” says guitarist, Will Gibbs. “So although it’s a straight-ahead rock tune if you listen closely there’s plenty of interplay between the two guitars, the bass and drums and the lead and backing vocals.”

Lyric-wise, it’s about fast times and lucky – or otherwise – breaks, leaning on a cool, cinematic reference.

‘Maybe there’s a shot of luck
In my bottle of booze
And if by God there’s a heaven above
He’d make my bets come through’

“Jacob (Willis-Fulford, vocals) and I collaborated on the lyrics which in essence don’t really have any deep meaning, but it kind of paints a picture of a character similar to Ace Rothstein (Robert De Niro) in Casino,” explains Gibbs. “It’s just a fun tune for us.”

Recorded with Christian Peterson at Sunset Studios with vocals laid down at Emerald Room Studios with Emmett Carroll, Dirty Money is the latest in a series of single releases for Interflow, and the first of several for 2026. Expect loads of gigs around the metro area and through WA.
