Nashville-based, blues-soaked Southern rockers Parker Barrow are pleased to announce the release of their new 5-track EP ‘Hold the Mash’ on November 5th. The collection marks the band’s first release since their debut album ‘Jukebox Gypsies’ (2023), and it features the two singles released in 2025: ‘Make It’ and ‘Novocaine’. ‘Hold the Mash’ also includes the lead single ‘The Healer’ as well as the tracks ‘Glass Eyes Crying’ and ‘Olivia Lane’.
The EP is available on all streaming platforms HERE.
Hold The Mash arrives just as Parker Barrow embark on a UK tour supporting Canadian rockers The Damn Truth on November 12th. Tickets are available from The Gig Cartel.
In February 2026 the band will set sail on the sold out Rock Legends XIII Cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Turks and Caicos, joining Gene Simmons, Blue Öyster Cult, REO Speedwagon, the Guess Who, Uriah Heep, the Outlaws, Eric Burden and the Animals, Loverboy and more.
Parker Barrow lead singer Megan Kane says of the new ‘Hold the Mash’ EP, “The recording process for this was a completely new experience, unlike anything we’ve done before. With Alex (Bender – guitar) joining the creative songwriting journey with us, everything felt refreshed and reimagined. Balancing our touring schedule while carving out time to record came with its own set of challenges, but every late night, every long drive, every moment of exhaustion was worth it. Watching these songs grow from voice memos to fleshing out ideas in the basement of our house to fully realized recordings has been one of the most rewarding parts of our year.”

Of new single ‘The Healer’, drummer Dylan Turner comments, “That song is an exciting track for us as it shows a brand-new side of the band. Our music has always been groove based and guitar driven, but this track called for something a little different. It features our keys player, Eric Safka, and includes a psychedelic-tinged organ solo which I believe sets it apart from the rest of the tracks we’ve released so far.”
“Olivia Lane is a personal favorite of mine off of the EP,” says guitarist Alex Bender. “The track takes it’s time to build and develop using various textures and dynamics until it climaxes when the full band enters for the final chorus. The first single we released from the EP, Make It, is a hard-hitting rock and roll track that comes crashing in and doesn’t let up until the final drum fill. Having this variety on the album shows a depth and musicality that is very characteristic of who we are as a band.”

Parker Barrow are led by husband-and-wife duo Megan Kane (lead vocals) and Dylan Turner (drums). The band name is taken from Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow – the infamous American bank robbers during the early 1930’s Great Depression. A chance encounter in 2019 paired Kane with Turner, who was hunting for a new singer. Just two weeks later, they were on the road together, driven by one goal: making their musical dreams a reality.
In 2023 Parker Barrow expanded with the full-time inclusion of guitarist and musical director Alex Bender. Turner lays down a heavy groove while Kane’s electrifying, soulful vocals soar high above. Alex’s inventive riffs and fiery playing pull it all together, creating Parker Barrow’s signature sound. Parker Barrow’s ‘vintage shop rock’ sound contains elements of rock, southern rock, blues and soul; but the band’s brand of music is unmistakably and distinctly their own.

You will find an impressive mix of old and new influences threaded throughout the band’s sound, including the Rolling Stones, Blackberry Smoke, Allman Brothers Band, Aerosmith, Tedeschi Trucks, the Black Crowes and Led Zeppelin. Parker Barrow’s debut album ‘Jukebox Gypsies’ was released to glowing reviews from music press and fans around the world; and the single Back To Birmingham racked up over a million views on YouTube.
Represented by Intrepid Artists International, Parker Barrow has earned a reputation for their powerhouse live shows—each one unique, often featuring spontaneous jams and fresh twists on their songs. The band have spent most of 2025 touring the US and made their first overseas appearances playing festivals and headline shows in the UK and Spain. Parker Barrow thrive on connecting with fans, both old and new, and will continue touring across the US and Europe through 2026. Their live shows deliver grit, swagger, and pure heat—a testament that rock ‘n’ roll is very much alive and well.
