Less than a month remains before San Jose metalcore/hardcore band MUGSHOT unleashes their long-awaited sophomore album, All The Devils Are Here. Now, the rising four-piece have revealed the impending record’s massively heavy third single, I Will Be Here Forever, and accompanying music video.
Commenting on the new single, the band says: “This was one of the most difficult to finish lyrically, but came together better because of that. We all felt a sense of isolation while writing and recording this album so thematically, this song is centered around sacrificing whatever you feel is necessary to accomplish one’s goals, even if that means ultimately harming yourself or those around you.”
Produced by Randy Leboeuf (Kublai Kahn, The Acacia Strain, Gideon, Bad Omens), MUGSHOT‘s massive 12 track record, All The Devils Are Here, marks a new beginning for the incendiary band, following their 2023 EP, Cold Will, and nearly a decade after their riveting full-length Dull Boy.
With a lineup consisting of Ringo Waterman (vocals), Michael Demko (guitar), Connor Haines (drums) and Ciro Abraham (bass), MUGSHOT have found a brutal groove, melding influences of metal and hardcore in a violent storm of unrelenting chaos. Featuring the previously released singles Vale of Tears, Die In Fear and Afore A Waking Nightmare, their long anticipated album ushers in a thrilling new wave of rage for metalcore fans.
Commenting on the record, the band states: “This album is the most collaborative we have ever been as a band, every person had a major hand in creating whether that be musically, lyrically or both. It’s also the first album we haven’t self produced and having Randy Leboeuf on board was so invaluable, he really felt like a 5th member. Lyrically this is the most personal and pissed off we have ever been and we think everyone will be able to connect with many tracks on this record.”
MUGSHOT will tour in support of All The Devils Are Here starting this month, with upcoming performances at Welcome To Rockville and Louder Than Life.
