JEFFREY HALFORD & THE HEALERS are gearing up for their eighth European tour in September and October 2025, bringing their signature blend of raw rock ‘n’ roll, country, and soul back to the stage. But this tour isn’t just another run—it marks the 25th anniversary of KEROSENE, the album (release date Friday, August 29th, 2025) that put Halford on the map as a true Americana troubadour.
For years, fans have asked for a vinyl reissue of KEROSENE, a record that quickly sold out in the U.S. and Europe. Now, that wait is over. By popular demand, the album is back in print, thanks to Dutch distributor Coast To Coast, ensuring that Kerosene will again be available in select record stores across Benelux and Germany.
Even better? A limited number of copies will be available on tour, where fans can grab their own signed edition directly from Halford himself.
The world was a different place in 2000. A lot has changed in the 25 years since, but fortunately, we have troubadours like Jeffrey Halford to chronicle the journey. His storytelling, rich, raw, and timeless, has always captured the heart of the American experience. “Kerosene was a moment in time when the critics and the audience legitimized me as a writer and an artist. A beautiful feeling.”, says Halford.
It’s almost strange to call Kerosene a “breakthrough” record. Halford’s songwriting has always felt wise beyond its years, his voice world-weary in the best way. Yet in 2000, this album marked a turning point, setting him apart in a crowded field of singer-songwriters straddling the Americana soundscape.
What made Kerosene special? Even then, Halford had a rare ability to fuse gritty blues with folk and country influences, all anchored by his signature guitar work—dirty, fuzzed-out, and laced with fingerpicking finesse.
