Hot on the heels of his hit ‘She Don’t’, rising country-rocker James Keith returns with a gritty, feel-good anthem that proves he’s not just living the dream, he’s earning it. ‘Chasing Dreams’ picks up where the last single left off, blending catchy hooks, husky vocals, and heart-on-sleeve storytelling.

“It’s more than just a song, it’s a story about the grind behind the glory,” says James. “It’s about having a vision so big it pulls you out of your comfort zone and into the unknown. But at its core, this song is a reminder – don’t just fix your eyes on the finish line. You’ve got to enjoy the road that gets you there… I’m just chasing a dream while living one!”

Produced by Matt Fell at Wilder Studios in Tasmania, ‘Chasing Dreams’ follows the momentum of James’ last single ‘She Don’t’, which hit #28 on the Country Radio Charts and was added to Apple Music’s ‘New in Country’ editorial playlist. His debut album Life Is Good Today debuted at #1 on the ARIA Country Albums Chart and #2 on the AIR Chart, solidifying James Keith as one of the most exciting new voices in Australian country music.

The accompanying video, shot on location at West Head, Palm Beach, is just as evocative as the song itself. Directed by Matt Leiper, it captures James behind the wheel of an old Ford truck, echoing the themes of freedom and pursuit that power the track.

“With every song I write, I aim to bring the story to life visually, and that’s exactly what I’ve done with ‘Chasing Dreams’,” he explains. “Cruising down a long, winding road, capturing the freedom, fun, and the raw pursuit of something bigger. It’s not just about the destination; it’s about enjoying the ride.”

A 2025 Toyota Star Maker Grand Finalist, James has already notched festival appearances at Lakeside Festival Forster and A Night in Nashville in Orange, as well as a tour support for Jon Stevens on the Noiseworks / INXS Collective Tour.

Next the road winds through NSW, seeing James perform energetic live shows to fans at the Forster Tuncurry Races, Penania Diggers ‘Country Fever’, Bucketty’s Brewing Co. and A Night with The Mortimer’s in Orange.

With more new music on the way in 2025, ‘Chasing Dreams’ shows there’s plenty more road ahead for James Keith, and he’s loving every minute of the ride.
