Rose Tattoo is for many including myself ‘the’ great Aussie Rock band. Sure AC/DC made it bigger and burned brighter but the Tatts kept it dirtier, grittier and had the real passion and fury that few could match. Their story has had more than its fair share of twists and turns and continues to do so but as we approach the 50 year milestone there’s talk of a new album but also talk of marking the retirement of the band in the most memorable way – going out as they came in!
Of course we also take time to look back on a few memorable gigs and reflect on a wonderful last few years. We did the interview, or chat, over two sittings as the first time we sat down, as we often do, we talked about life, the universe and everything. So what you get is the second chat first along with a few interesting musical moments from the first… Enjoy!
