ROCK IS NOT DEAD : THE AWAKENING festival is coming in hot and kicks off this weekend. Brisbane’s Brightside is the venue and The Rockpit caught up with TAILOR MADE REJECTS ahead of the August 30 show.
Queensland’s TAILOR MADE REJECTS are one of the returning bands to ROCK IS NOT DEAD : THE AWAKENING. Their 2025 album ‘Afterthought’ is an absolute rock masterpiece. Live they were one of the highlights of the first ROCK IS NOT DEAD line-up.
Andrew Slaidins caught up with frontman Ryan (Guitars/Vocals), Zak (Drums) and new guitarist Jessie to catch up on what’s been happening in the last six months. We talk new music and what a change in the line-up has brought to the band. How important a festival like this is to the music scene and the community it is building.
