CICADASTONE Release, the ‘Future Echoes’ Extended Acoustic EP, Plus Anniversary ‘Future Echoes’ Deluxe CD & Merch Drop

Melbourne hard hitters, Cicadastone are about to celebrate the one year anniversary of their latest album, Future Echoes which received brilliant reviews from the rock press including a 9/10 from The Hard Rock Show.

The band followed up the release with the Future Echoes EP, a selection of songs from the album which have been reworked and re-recorded in an acoustic setting which showcases the strength of the songs and diversity of the band.

Now they have dropped, the Future Echoes Extended Acoustic EP which contains an acoustic version of Last In Line plus brand new track, Long Way Down.

Frontman Mat Robins says of the song, “Long Way Down” highlights the current climate we live in, and the slippery slope that is “cancel culture”. What was once acceptable is no longer, but at what cost? And how far down that rabbit hole do we go before we have lost ourselves all together? Long Way Down says it as it is, it’s a long way down from where we came.”

Robins continues, “coming up on a year from the release of “Future Echoes”, we just wanted to do something special to celebrate the occasion so we thought releasing a couple of more acoustic tracks would be fun to do.  We are also doing a short limited run on CD which also is exciting to do, repackaging the ep with the album. Why not hey?”
