Love Police Records & Tapes re-release The Bures Band debut album ‘Birds Nest’

On the back of the sell-out success of their mind-blowing debut LP, Birds Nest, Western Australian folk rock group The Bures Band are back with a repress of the highly-rated 2023 album plus a run of shows across the country.

“There have been more than a few contenders crowding for the Cosmic American crown these days, but few are hitting the sweet spot quite like this”– Raven Sings The Blues

Forming in 2022, The Bures Band is made up of five friends who share a love of late ‘60s, early 1970s music: Callum Anderson (lead guitar & vocals), Stephen Bailey (guitar & vocals), Danny Miles (guitar & vocals), Noah Symmans (drums) and Tom Beech (bass).

Title track ‘Birds Nest’ promises great things for the album, an Americana folk rock uplifter, featuring jangly guitars and the band’s catchy four-piece harmony.

The album continues into an early-1970s aural experience of laid back, melodic and joyful songs filled with catchy choruses and impressive performance.

“On a whim we added these guys to Out On The Weekend and a bunch of support shows back in October last year. Their music spoke to us and felt we could help them get it heard. The band has been a little more discovered since then and have some great shows and festivals coming up, and now they have some physical product. Their sound is the sound of vinyl. We are happy we can help fans get what they deserve.” BT, Love Police Records & Tapes.

Making its way onto many Top Albums of 2023 lists including PIlerats, New Commute and Raven Sings The Blues, plus capturing attention around the world, it’s no wonder the initial first pressing sold out in less than 24 hours!

The Bures Band Birds Nest repress will be released on 180 gram light blue opaque vinyl through Love Police Records & Tapes and available from February 23. Pre order HERE
