DROUGHTS Set To Release New Album ‘LORE’

Released January 26, 2023

Droughts is excited to announce that they are bringing their Gothic Space Western sound to the Rock music world with their new album ‘Lore’ released on January 26,2024.

Lore weaves a psychological tapestry of an interplanetary traveller at their limit. The album itself is flavoured with pop and industrial tones, all while being held together by the glue of hard rock. Pulsing rhythms, heavy guitar riffs, clean vocals, and electronic elements fit seamlessly to transport the listener on a journey to explore desolate worlds on the far reaches of a distant galaxy.

Droughts is Scott Turek (vocals, acoustic guitar), Augustus Barhorst (electricguitar, synth), Trevor Hoffort (drums) and Chris Baldani (bass, horns). Blending late 90’s hard rock, alternative metal, and a hint of spaghetti western, Droughts aim to bring what they call their Gothic Space Western aesthetic to the Nashville music scene. For fans of Deftones, Breaking Benjamin, and Puscifer, Droughts takes its audience from the frontiers of a dusty Wild West to the outer limits of Deep Space – all in a consistently genre-bending auditory experience.
