Rock ‘n’ Rollers JANE LEE HOOKER announce New York City & Los Angeles live shows

Jane Lee Hooker announce bi-coastal record release shows celebrating their new studio album, Rollin’, available on April 29, 2022. Jane Lee Hooker’s music is a blend of rock ‘n’ roll, blues, punk, R&B and soul, paying respect to the legends of the past but with song writing chops rooted firmly in the present. For these shows they’ll play the new album start to finish. Although they’ve played a few East Coast shows during the pandemic, including a benefit show at Arlene’s Grocery (NYC), Gloucester Blues Festival (MA), and hosted an “All Good Things” single and video release party in NYC, this will be their first show on the West Coast since playing select stops, including the Viper Room, in 2017.

“I can’t wait to get back to sunny California!” says front woman Dana Athens, adding “It’ll be great, albeit bittersweet, to play the Viper Room one last time. The show falls on my birthday, so this will be an awesome way to celebrate!”

Bass player Mary Zadroga says “I love the stage of the Viper Room, the velvet curtains drawn before the set, and blasting into the first song as the curtains open. So theatrical and awesome. Nowhere else does that. The size of the place is perfect too. Cozy enough to feel like the show you are seeing is something special and intimate.”
