Peter about the single: “I had an idea of covering ‘Gimme Shelter’ for years… And now it feels like it’s the perfect time to do it – ’cause today this song appears as important as it was when it first came out 52 years ago. Back then it was the Cold War, today it is the war on Covid.”

Arizona’s GO AHEAD AND DIE will release their self-titled debut album on June 11th via Nuclear Blast Records. GO AHEAD AND DIE is a raw, urgent, unrelenting, thrillingly shocking, and vibrant new band. Today, the trio offer fans their third single, ‘Roadkill’.

Max Cavalera comments, “‘Roadkill’ is about the homeless and the veterans left on the street to fight for themselves after they offered to sacrifice their lives for us. It’s a cry of desperation for homeless people who society views as roadkill.”

Igor Amadeus states, “‘Roadkill’ is a track written for those currently living without shelter. No human should be forced out of their home, no human should have to live on the streets. Roadkill is a look into the frustrating reality of worldwide homelessness.”

San Diego deathcore pioneers, CARNIFEX, are proud to release a lyric video for their new single, “Seven Souls”. Check out the video here: https://youtu.be/Bw0fmLbVKec

CARNIFEX comments, “‘Seven Souls’ is a continuation in the reintroduction of CARNIFEX to the world. The first steps on a journey into the interior.”

German metal band DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER are proud to release another track from their upcoming experimental record, “The Divine Horsemen”, which will be out July 2nd, 2021. Nachtblume is a clear nod to atmospheric black metal, but with the running time of a grindcore or hardcore punk song. It showcases the artistic freedom and stylistic diversity that can be expected on the full release, because one thing is for certain: “The Divine Horsemen” is a lot of things, but boring it is not for one second!

You can watch a lyric video for Nachtblume here

DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER on Nachtblume: “The blackness of the night and the force of the north winds have been the inspiration for Nachtblume (“Nightflower”). As its lyrics Fuchs chose a poem from 1834, which was originally written by Joseph von Eichendorff. The speaker describes the uncontrollable emotions taking hold of them at night time. In a radical, eruptive burst the raw energy is condensed into one of the shortest Reiter tracks to ever be released.”
