Sydney’s Astrodeath dish up some ‘Relentless Brutality’

Astrodeath

2020 sure has been relentless. Perfect timing for Astrodeath to step up and release their latest single ‘Relentless Brutality’, a massive riff-fest built to help you blow out some much-needed steam.

The Sydney heavy duo have kept the flame burning in CoVid downtime, with the new single and video premiering through Hysteria Mag alongside a Spotify/Bandcamp/iTunes release.

To celebrate the occasion, Astrodeath head to one of their favourite venues The Vanguard in Sydney on Saturday 26 September, calling in friends Mountain Wizard Death Cult and Master Leonard for a double header of heavy. Two limited capacity early and late shows are currently 50% sold out, don’t miss your spot.  Hit the event HERE.

Astrodeath singer/guitarist Tim Lancken says of the release and launch “It’s been a minute between headbangs and we can’t wait to reconnect with our family of the riff. Some of our best buds Master Leonard and Mountain Wizard Death Cult will be bringing the heat in support. Last year we played over 60 shows around the country and this year we fear we’re only going to play a handful so this night is special for us. We’re looking forward to unleashing our latest single aptly titled for 2020 ‘Relentless Brutality’.”

Born in 2018 as the heavy-hitting, sludge-grunge brainchild of Lancken (guitar and vocals) and Yoshi Hausler (drums), Astrodeath dish up heavy slabs of evil riffage and titanic drums that has seen the band carve out a solid reputation, supporting acts such as 1000 Mods, Nick Oliveri, The Svetlanas, The Neptune Power Federation, Bare Bones and more.
