Trigger return with new single “Demon Eyes” and new vocalist

Trigger

One of Australia’s most anticipated metal releases in 2019 has been the first single release of Melbourne melodic metal heavyweights Trigger, with their new vocalist Nathan Peachey (ex-Teramaze) in tow. Now released, “Demon Eyes” takes the signature Trigger sound to a much more accessible dimension, with soaring cleans and monstrous choruses, whilst still retaining the razor-sharp aggression that made the band one of Australia’s metal staples.

Peachey speaks about joining Trigger, and releasing “Demon Eyes”, “It’s a thrill to be releasing this single with Trigger, these guys brought me into this project and I feel right at home. Keep an eye out for us cause we are just getting started!

Recorded and mixed by Chris Themelco at Monolith Studios and mastered by Plec Johansson at The Panic Room. This is the first release featuring Nathan Peachey on vocals and Darcy Mulcahy on drums.

2019 will see a series of singles from the band that traverse all the light and heavy aspects of Trigger, while still retaining that catchy edge you all know. “Demon Eyes” captures a lighter side of the band that allows Peachey to do what he does best. But don’t expect this lighter side to continue as they have lots in store for you!
