South Africa rockers Black Pistol drop new video “

Black Pistol

Down the Hatch, the second music video for South African rockers, Black Pistol, shot during their album launch on 13th July 2019 is today released for viewing.

The video, filmed and edited by Jurie Neethling (Vetman) who also shot the first music video, Call To
Arms. shows the interaction between the band and the crowd and the live energy you can expect at a Black Pistol concert. This song was one of the crowd favourites and definitely staying on the setlist for the foreseeable future.

Speaking on the song, vocalist Stiaan Bruwer says, “The song is about medicating yourself with music and rather getting lost into the groove of music than anything else“.

Formed in 2014, this 4 piece pushes the boundaries with their don’t give a damn attitude. Roan & Jacques have been playing the local scene for more than 10 years. Introducing some fresh new blood with Stiaan on vocals & Daniel on drums, they are definitely a force to be reckoned with.

The band’s musical influences ranges from old school rock ‘n roll to more heavy hard rock. From 70’s / 80’s rock & metal such as Black Sabbath, Guns ‘n Roses and Metallica to more newer bands like Wolfmother, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Airbourne and Rival Sons helped shaped the sound of the band.
