Melbourne rockers Ablaze release new video ahead of support show with John Corabi

Ablaze
Melbourne blues rockers, Ablaze, have been on a non-stop rock n roll ride since the released of their debut album, No Chaser in October 2018.

The band toured relentlessly in the back half of last year, including several sold out hometown shows, and the album’s first single, Just A Taste has had over 55 000 combined streams across the bands platforms!

After a short break, the band are primed and ready for a huge 2019!  Kicking off by opening for ex Motley Crue frontman John Corabi on his Australian tour this month which will be followed by another headlining tour around the nation from April to June.

They have also been confirmed on several European festivals later in the year and will undertake a month long club show tour in support of those dates – Watch this space for news!

The band have just released a music video for the reflective ‘Long Way Home’ off No Chaser.
A dynamic and medolic bluesy number, Long Way Home has all the hallmarks of a classic rock track. Huge groove, sing-along chorus and soaring harmonies. A classic ‘road dog tale’ it sings of the love and passion for playing on tour while missing your loved ones back home. The comraderie of your bands mates offset against those things you hold dear in your other life.

Formed way back in 2010 when the boys were fresh out of high school, they, like every other band, began life as a covers act before getting a hunger to write their own stuff.

After cutting their teeth in any place that had a stage and would let them play, they released a debut single in 2014, followed by an EP in mid 2016 and their debut album, No Chaser in 2018. Things have not stopped since.

The band have spent the last few years gigging hard in and around Melbourne with several national tours helping to spread the Ablaze name.

They also scored incredible supports opening for John Corabi, The Screaming Jets, Electric Mary, Marky Ramone and the Jimmy Barnes headlined festival Under The Southern Stars alongside Richie Sambora, Diesel and Dallas Crane!

With a heady mix of classic Aussie rock, some bluesy jams and it’s share of heartbreakers,
No Chaser is guaranteed to please.
