Michael Schenker Fest - ResurrectionAfter conquering Japan at the end of this month, MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST will be touring Europe and the UK in October/November in celebration of their latest studio album release, »Resurrection«; out now via Nuclear Blast.

Earlier this week, the band released a teaser for their new official video for “Take Me To The Church”. The video was shot during a recent trip to St. Petersburg in Russia and is premiering today over on YouTube HERE

Michael Schenker comments: “Today we are releasing the new video for ’Take Me To The Church‘, released from Michael Schenker Fest‘s debut album – ’Resurrection‘. We filmed the video in an old church in St Petersburg, Russia as well as at our live show there that same evening. The process was an interesting experience! The fans in Russia were great for the video, too.”

Doogie White adds: “’Take Me To The Church‘ was the obvious choice, given the terrific response in the live arena and from fans and reviewers alike, so we decided to bite the bullet and shoot a video. This was the first of three songs Michael and I wrote for the “Resurrection” album continuing the partnership we started with “Temple of Rock”.
It is always fascinating to see how others interpret lyrics and bring them to life visually. We also knew that fans would want to see live footage of the line-up, we added some of that too.
So once you have watched the video and learned your lines you can sing along when we come to a town or city near you. ALRIGHT…”

Riot VNew York’s heavy metal pioneers RIOT V have announced a vinyl pressing of »Live At Keep It True Festival 2015« which was previously only available as a bonus CD for the bands latest studio album »Armor Of Light«.

The live recording is being made available through Nuclear Blast Records as a limited edition gatefold double splatter vinyl and is available to preorder now HERE.

The band, who formed over 40 years ago in Brooklyn, New York and were this year inducted into the prestigious Heavy Metal History Hall Of Fame boast 16 studio albums to their name and a long and absorbing history that can be rivaled by few others. Since their legendary debut album »Rock City« (1977), RIOT has released numerous heavy metal classics, including »Fire Down Under« (with classics like ‘Swords And Tequila’), their masterpiece »Thundersteel«(1988), and the unforgotten »The Privilege Of Power« (1990).

After the death of Mark Reale and the departure of Tony MooreTodd Michael Hall (from Michigan, USA), completed the line-up of the band, which in the meantime performed under the name of RIOT V under the auspices of the two long term members and main songwriters Donnie van Stavern (bass) and Mike Flyntz (guitar). With the critically acclaimed »Unleash The Fire« (2014), a pure power metal jewel once again underlined the musical importance and influence of the quintet.

The bands latest offering »Armor Of Light« was released this year through Nuclear Blast Records.

Mark Jansen states:
“We have named our album »Dhyana« after the ballad, which is quite unusual but it felt good and it‘s the main theme (lyricwise) on the album. We have picked the song to be our second video (after the lyric video ‘The Rhythm of Freedom’) as it shows a different side of MaYaN.
