NECKBREAKER SUPREMACY: LEGION OF THE DAMNED IS BACK!

Watch the video for the crushing “Slaves of the Southern Cross” right HERE!

Vocalist Maurice Swinkels on the new single: “Next to “Dark Coronation”, “Palace of Sin” and “Warhounds of Hades”, this is one of my favorite tracks on the album: “Slaves of the Southern Cross”, its heavy as hell and sometimes reminds me of Infernal Majesty, it has a great atmosphere and I cannot wait for the fans to sheer with me “Slaves of the Southern Cross”. For the video we rented the big hall of the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen and kept it relative ‘simple’, spend the entire day in fire blasters and filmed the band that captures the essence of LEGION OF THE DAMNED: Aggressive and heavy! ”

On January 4th 2019 the quartet will release their new album Slaves of the Shadow Realm via Napalm Records. This monster resembles a colossal, smooth and blackened monolith. Five years after the much-praised Ravenous Plague, the shredding legion returns with producer Andy Classen and presents an album that merges the unadulterated fury of the early LOTD years with the sophistication of a veteran band.

Dust BoltThe start of 2019 slams: On January 18th DUST BOLT fire a real thrash-bomb with their fourth longplayer Trapped In Chaos. Now the raging quartet releases their second video off the upcoming record!

Lenny states: “Bloody rain is a really special and outstanding song on the new album and in the history of Dust Bolt. It is by far the most melodic song vocalwise, though it´s also a really dark and heavy banger – especially towards the ending. The song was written by our guitarist Flo D. . I remember him calling me multiple times as he had this song he needed to show me immediately on a rainy and pale day. Mentally it was a dark and uncertain time for both of us, which probably made the song, what is is now. Uncomprehendingly, in some ways “grungy”, heavy and as nihilistic as it can get.”

SojournerWelcome to the Napalm family!

SOJOURNER is a folk-influenced atmospheric metal band with members from New Zealand, Sweden, and Italy. Their sound combines epic, ethereal elements with the aggression of black metal, evoking the sweeping, melancholic atmospheres of nature.

Formed in 2015, their first album “Empires of Ash” was well received in the underground metal scene for its driving guitars, blackened rasps and ethereal female vocals. In 2018 the band released their second album, “The Shadowed Road”, building on their epic, fantasy atmosphere, and made their debut live performance to fans from across the world in Glasgow. SOJOURNER have since played at festivals in the UK, Germany, and Italy, and will be embarking on their first European tour in January 2019 with Draconian and Harakiri for the Sky. Continuing the progression of their diverse sound, the band will be releasing their third album in late 2019 on Napalm Records.

The band states: “We’re incredibly proud to be working with Napalm records, a label that we’ve all listened to and respected for years! We’d like to thank Sebastian for reaching out to us, and all of our supporters both old and new. We’re hard at work on the follow up to ‘The Shadowed Road’ and we can’t wait to share it with you all through this new partnership!”
