Mild Manic unleash new single ‘Global Threat’ & announce east coast tour dates

Mild Manic

The Australian landscape for pop punk is thriving at the moment, with energetic and impassioned young acts from all corners of the country with stories of heartache, yearning, as well as scathing opinions of society around them to tell. Enter: Mild Manic.

Their name may be contrasting but their music is straight down the line in its approach; bombastic and teeming with emotional punch, Mild Manic have cultivated a presence for themselves on the live front that positions the group as ones to watch.

New single ‘Global Threat’ is the latest example of what the Melbourne-based, NSW south coast-bred band is made of. Thrashing percussion and guitars meet the aching-yet-melodic vocal styles of Sam Rees in perfecting the instantly catchy nature of the music that Mild Manic have become synonymous with crafting.

In line with the Ceres, Horror My Friend, Dear Seattle and Sincerely, Grizzly, the music Mild Manic make is tailor-made for the music fan wanting to escape; ‘Global Threat’,  in its lyrics, its various musical builds and swells, is music to sink into. Whether you want to get sweaty in a mosh pit to it, or you simply want to purge some emotional demons by listening to it, Mild Manic have the perfect music to soundtrack either.

Opening 2018 in such a way stays true to the way Mild Manic have approached music; getting it out to as many people as possible is key. Heading down the east coast, crowds can expect a formidable live show delivered by a brotherhood who have formed a musical palette built on aiming higher and louder with each release.
