The Lockhearts announce new single & Goddamn Pretty tour

The Lockhearts

Following their award-winning lead-foot muscle car banger Ride Home, The Lockhearts have announced the pending release of their new single Goddamn Pretty from forthcoming album, Americana Doom Fuzz (slated for release in early 2018), with the band currently gearing up for an east coast Australian tour with a run of dates through November and December.

An instantly infectious down-home groove, Goddamn Pretty is due to drop on Monday, 30 October (available for pre-order via iTunes as of Friday, 13th). It showcases the “Americana” side of the bands’ forthcoming record, gliding in with a laid-back swagger and bursts of rich vocal harmony in the choruses reminiscent of the Eagles or Tom Petty.

Formed in 2012, drawing from the members’ shared love of Joe Perry’s line of hot experimental hot sauces and classic Aerosmith, The Lockhearts hold claim to the longest running weekly residency in Sydney, the worst chilli vodka ever made, have toured Australia extensively, and created their own annual sell-out festival “Old Mates Block Party”. Goddamn Pretty gets into the roots of the bands’ Americana influences, delivering a lush taste of what’s to come from their debut LP.
