Since forming in 2015 Perth natives Psychedelic Porn Crumpets have had a head spinningly busy 18 months.
Not only have the psyche rockers dropped two head rattling LP’s, ‘High Visceral’ Part One and Part Two to rave reviews “Entrancing, mind altering, and a breath of fresh air. And just because sleep is for the weak the band has announced the impending release of ‘High Visceral’ B-Side vinyl. The first single to drop via the band’s label What Reality Records is outta this world fuzz banger ‘Little Moon’. Slowly increasing in intensity and pace, the guitars in ‘Little Moon’ add layers of fuzz, reverb and wailing amps to the explosive nature and constant changes in rhythmical patterns, vocal textures and chord structures. “The idea of the track was based around the opening riff. I wanted to write a modulating verse that increased in tempo that made the song always feel like it was constantly rising. I wrote so many alternate parts that had the initial song around 10 minutes that we eventually compressed into 3:30” Psychedelic Porn Crumpets
