Pete Lynch Releases Music Video for “Till The Rivers Run Dry”

Pete Lynch

Colorado-based alt-rock artist Pete Lynch will be releasing his new sophomore album Kill the Monster on May 19th. Today, you can watch the music video for the first single “Till The Rivers Run Dry,” which premiered with Highlight Magazine. All the footage was shot by Pete himself while on a road trip, using a GoPro, GH2, and an HTC phone.

Since I wrote ‘Till the Rivers Run Dry’ during a 5000-mile road trip across America, it was logical to use some of the 200 hours of film I made on the journey for the music video,” says Lynch. “My intention was to visually translate the atmosphere of the song into a road movie, that would fit the melody, and communicate what the text means to me. The stars of the video are the empty road and the countryside, the vastness of the landscape, the fantastic colors and the invigorating beauty. I hope the video will inspire people like my road trip inspired me.

The track and album were mixed by Tim Palmer (known for his work with Pearl Jam, Blue October, Ozzy and many more), who says “in a just world, ‘Till The Rivers Run Dry’ will be a smash.Kill The Monster is a follow-up to Pete’s debut album Face Me! and explores different creative avenues, experimenting with different keys and tempos and using a variety of electronic elements. “I had a very clear vision of how I wanted the record to sound. I had played some of the songs live, so I had a better understanding of the way people react to the new songs,” says Lynch. “Till The Rivers Run Dry” is available on Spotify and iTunes
