Pelagic Records: Now Available In Australia! Announce Distribution Deal with Rocket

German label Pelagic Records have announced a distribution deal with Rocket, Australia’s leading independent music distribution company.

Pelagic Records are closely connected to the Berlin-based international musicians’ collective The Ocean and owned by The Ocean’s frontman, Robin Staps.
Pelagic’s roster reflects the label’s aim to deliver quality music and art that shares a common vision of tastefulness and style.

Featuring artists with diverse stylistic content ranging from post rock and post metal to experimental, drone, acoustic and soundtrack music, Pelagic signings are genuine, challenging and inspiring with their art..

Robin Staps comments on the Rocket deal: “We have released records by Australian bands like Sleepmakeswaves, Lo! and Tangled Thoughts of Leaving in Europe, and I’m excited that we will now have proper presence down under. I have toured the continent 3 times with my own band The Ocean and am well familiar with the vibrant underground music scene.”
