Joe Perry - Sweetzerland Manifesto

Aerosmith‘s Joe Perry will release Sweetzerland Manifesto, his first non-holiday solo album in eight years, on January 19.

“Sweetzerland Manifesto” marks Perry‘s sixth solo album and is comprised of 10 new tracks. The project features collaborations with Robin Zander of Cheap Trick, as well as David Johansen and Terry Reid. The songs were all written or co-written by Perry, except for a cover of “Eve Of Destruction” which features Johnny Depp on drums. Perry‘s sons Tony and Roman appear on the instrumental “Spanish Sushi.” “I’ll Do Happiness” features Terry Reid on vocals and Ringo Starr‘s son Zak on drums.

“It’s going to be interesting to see what songs people gravitate to,” Perry said when announcing the album, “because there’s such a wide variety of tunes.”
