INTERVIEW: Slatts – King Parrot

King Parrot

King Parrot have come a long way from the streets of Melbourne in the 5 years that they have been a band. Their now infamous videos which have helped put the band on the musical world map combined with their chaotic shows and brutal music has given King Parrot a well deserved reputation of being a great band with a twisted sense of humor. After having just returned from a successful tour in the U.S. which involved an unfortunate incident in Chicago, the band are set to bring the chaos to Australia on the back of their upcoming new album “Dead Set” which continues the heavy brutality that the band are known for. We caught up with bassist Slatts to discuss the tour, their experience in the U.S. and what it was like working with Pantera/Down vocalist Phil Anselmo on the new album.
