Bayview Suspect

 

Bayview Suspect are a groove metal band from Perth, Australia that incorporates a varied mix of influences that result in a sound that has been described as the lovechild of Whitechapel and Lamb Of God. While still relatively young forming in 2014, the band have been hitting the live circuit in and around the local Perth metal scene since 2015 consistently that shows a determination and passion for the music they create.

After entering the live music scene and honing their live sound, the members of Bayview Suspect collaborated together to write and record their debut EP release titled “To Whom It May Concern” released in March 2016. It was not long after that the EP caught the attention of The Rockpit who stated in a review that There’s a lot of potential for Bayview Suspect here and we could see this band making a bit of noise in the metal scene in the future.”

After a succession of shows following the EP release including winning the X-Press Magazine / Monster Management battle of the bands competition, Bayview Suspect headed back to the studio to record and release two subsequent single tracks.

Most recently the band were signed to Krunch Entertainment under a management deal for their second EP “Survival Or Ruin” released September 14th 2018 which received rave reviews including Hysteria Magazine who stated “This EP has everything you could want from truly imaginative melodic groove metal–vicious vocals, machine gun drum lines, killer guitar and bass runs that tickle the ears like ants on speed“. The band supported the new release with a supporting slot opening for Phil Anselmo & The Illegals at the sold out Slayfest 2019 before embarking on their first tour across Australia.
