The bands first new music since the release of their Future Echoes album and Acoustic EP, Falling In A Coma, according to Frontman Mat Robins, “explores the slow loss of control, where avoidance replaces awareness and reality begins to blur. It is a state of detachment, a gradual disconnect from consequence and responsibility. The song reflects the dangerous comfort of drifting away when facing the truth feels too hard.”
With its towering riffs, mesmerising vocal harmonies and faithful nod to the rock gods of the 90’s, Falling In A Coma is another epic slab of hard rock.
Falling In A Coma is the first single off Cicadastone’s forthcoming new album, Edge Of Life, set for release on January 15, 2027 via XMusic Robins adds that, Edge Of Life is “a collection of songs about people and societies drifting toward collapse while convincing themselves everything is under control. It examines the quiet ways we surrender to complacency, false certainty, and disconnection, and the consequences that follow when awareness arrives too late.”
