Perth rock favourites The Silent Deeds are back with a brand-new single, ‘Bird in The Sky’, released today, Friday, 5th September. Following the success of their 2024 hit ‘Lady’ – their most successful track to date – the four-piece band is ready to soar even higher with this dynamic new offering.
To celebrate the release, The Silent Deeds will host a free-entry single launch party at The Carine Glades on Saturday, 6th September. Located north of Perth, The Carine’s band room has recently played host to renowned acts including The Superjesus, Everclear, and Kingswood – making it the perfect stage for the band’s latest chapter.

With ‘Bird in The Sky’, The Silent Deeds continue to carve their place in the Australian rock landscape. Don’t miss your chance to experience the new single live and up close.
Bassist Matt De Barro said, “’Bird in The Sky’ is one of those tracks that came together fast but hit deep. It’s raw, powerful and unapologetically us. We’re stoked to finally launch it on September 5th and live on September 6th. This one’s definitely one of our best and we can’t wait to celebrate it at the show.”

Lead singer Corey Ranger explained the story behind the striking cover art for the new single: “We’re thrilled to feature a handcrafted bluebird sculpture by Chris Wilson, the artist behind Wilson Wildlife Sculpture, on the cover of our latest single. We first connected with Chris on Instagram and were instantly drawn to his incredible work and the passion behind it. As an avid birder and conservationist, Chris brings a deep love of nature into every piece he creates – from songbirds to owls and everything in between. His bluebird felt like the perfect fit for this track, and we’re honoured to have his art help bring the song to life visually. Thanks again, Chris.”
