LOOKOUT 2027 Unveils Huge Line-Up

LOOKOUT returns in 2027 with one of its biggest line-ups yet!  Co-headlined by global concert juggernauts +LIVE+, Grammy Award-winning rock heavyweights STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, and chart-topping alt-rock trailblazers 4 NON BLONDES, this unforgettable event brings together some of the most influential names in alternative rock.

Celebrating an era of music that defined a generation, LOOKOUT delivers a powerful day of iconic songs, electrifying performances and pure rock nostalgia.  Soak up the anthems that have stood the test of time and experience the energy of live music as these legendary acts take to the stage.  They will be supported by local rockers, Magic Dirt.

+LIVE+ have sold over 23 million albums worldwide and earned two number one albums: Throwing Copper and Secret Samadhi. Their catalogue is filled with such gems as “Lightning Crashes,” “I Alone,” “All Over You” and “Lakini’s Juice,” which live on today as classics on rock radio. Throwing Copper—which the band celebrated in 2019 with a deluxe 25th anniversary edition along with a global tour across major festivals, amphitheatres and arenas–produced the band’s biggest single, “Lightning Crashes,” which was #1 at Modern Rock radio for ten consecutive weeks.

Throwing Copper reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and eventually surpassed sales of 10 million albums sold, with Rolling Stone honoring the album with placement on their list, “1994: The 40 Best Records From Mainstream Alternative’s Greatest Year.” Secret Samadhi (1997) immediately shot to #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and eventually went double platinum. The release of the platinum-selling The Distance to Here (1999) turned +LIVE+ into an international powerhouse and moved the band from arenas into stadiums.

With over 70 million albums sold, Stone Temple Pilots roared on to the scene in 1992 with their raucous debut, Core. A breakout success, the album peaked #3 on the Billboard 200 chart and dominated radio waves with hits like “Sex Type Thing,” “Wicked Garden,” and the Grammy-Award winning smash single, “Plush.” STP quickly distinguished themselves as a band beholden to no trend. Boasting the inimitable riffs of guitarist Dean DeLeo, the propulsive rhythm section of bassist Robert DeLeo and drummer Eric Kretz, and the charismatic baritone of frontman Scott Weiland, STP ruled airways, video playlists and charts alike over their legendary career. The band released their latest studio album, Perdida in 2020 with new lead singer, Jeff Gutt. Paste magazine described Perdida as the most sonically rich experience that Stone Temple Pilots have offered fans to date.

Grammy, Golden Globe, and Critic’s Choice Award–nominated producer, and Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee Linda Perry is one of the most accomplished artists working in music today.  In 2025, Perry reunited with her original band 4 Non Blondes, which she first formed in the Bay Area in 1989 in the middle of an earthquake with co-founding bassist Christa Hillhouse.  The two have now joined with drummer Dawn Richardson and guitarist Roger Rocha, both members of the original touring band, for first time in more than 33 years.  4 Non Blondes’ debut album, Bigger, Better, Faster, More!, spent more than a year on the Billboard 200 after its release in 1992, going platinum and spawning the anthem, “What’s Up?,” ubiquitous on MTV at the time and still a rallying cry against those forces of quasi-political control in the name of personal freedom. Despite their meteoric rise, 4 Non Blondes disbanded in 1994, with lead vocalist Linda Perry going from her auspicious start in 4 Non Blondes to a wildly successful career as a songwriter, producer, label owner and, including such platinum records as Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful,” Gwen Stefani’s “What You Waiting For?” and P!nk’s “Get the Party Started.” In 2025 a viral TikTok revival of the 4 Non Blondes classic “What’s Up?” generated more than 15 billion views and inspired over 5.4 million user-created videos, while earning an American Music Award nomination for Best Throwback Song. 4 Non Blondes have confirmed that they will release a new studio album in 2027, their first new material since their acclaimed debut Bigger, Better, Faster, More!

Magic Dirt, the seminal female fronted alternative rock band of the 90’s formed in 1991 out of the dust and noise of the industrial town of Geelong. With their inimitable chemistry, and by now legendary high energy live shows the band has amassed a legion of loyal and devoted fans with whom they maintain a longstanding and important relationship. With countless awards, nominations, festivals, tours, accolades and the adoration from critics and public alike, Magic Dirt are one of Australia’s all time classic and quintessential alternative rock bands.
